The White House has today announced the US will lift Covid-19 travel restrictions for fully vaccinated travellers from the UK and most European countries from early November.

This marks the end of a travel ban originally put in place by Donald Trump in March 2020.

  • All international travellers will need to prove they are fully vaccinated before boarding a flight (for UK this will mean at least 2 weeks past your second vaccination).
  • They will also require a negative Covid-19 test within 72 hours of departure for the USA

We have yet to hear from US Embassies as to when they will reopen for visa processing, but expect these to start soon.
