Programme Fees
This page shows the fees you will need to pay for the programme.
The actual cost is much higher, and the balance of this will be paid by your US Host Company

Fees
All Fees are in UK Pounds (£)
The actual fees for the programme are much higher than the amount you are asked to pay.
Your US Host Company will pay the balance between the fees you pay and the full programme fees

Actual Fees payable will be based on the exchange rate at the time of application.

Please note: In some cases participant fees may vary based on the amount your US Host Company will be paying. In these situations BSG interns will communicate this to you in advance.

Once your application has been approved by Pan Atlantic, you will receive instructions on paying the $220 SEVIS fee and booking your face to face visa appointment.
Additional Costs to Consider
| SEVIS FEE ($220): When your application is ready to be approved, you will be contacted by Pan Atlantic. At this time, as part of the process of booking your visa interview at your local embassy, you will need to pay your SEVIS fee. |

Site Visits: In some cases (as required by US Government guidelines), it may be necessary to conduct a Site Visit in order to confirm the Prospective host company in the US is able to meet the legal requirements for hosting an international intern or trainee. If this is required, an additional £200 will be added to the programme fee (you will be notified of this in advance) |
| Local US Embassy Fee/ MRV Fee ($185): This is paid directly to the local embassy in order to book and attend your interview. |
| DS-2019 forms are issued for specific dates. Re-issuance of the DS-2019 for new dates prior to the start of the program will incur additional fees. |
| New dates within the same calendar year will incur a fee of £100 per change |
| A Change of US Host Company once approval and documentation has been issued will incur an additional charge of at least £200. |
| New program dates in a different calendar year will be equal to half of the current year’s program fee. All date changes require the agreement of the participant, host company and Pan Atlantic |
Cancellation Policy
PLEASE NOTE: THERE WLL BE NO REFUND OF ANY PROGRAMME FEES IF YOU CANCEL AFTER YOUR VISA HAS BEEN ISSUED OR AFTER YOUR PROGRAM START DATE (AS PER YOUR DS-2019 AND DS-7002 TRAINING PLAN)
In the event of a cancellation after your application has been submitted to Pan Atlantic but prior to issuance of the DS-2019 Certificate
£250 non refundable charge
In the event of a cancellation after a DS-2019 has been produced but prior to issuance of the visa (including the case of visa denial), the following amounts will be deducted from your programme fees prior to your refund being issued*:
*Neither Pan Atlantic nor IST Plus can be responsible for failure to secure a visa interview appointment in time for your intended start date.
Any cancellation will incur standard fees as listed below
| J1 Intern: Applicant will receive a refund of fees minus £575 GBP |
| J1 Trainee: Applicant will receive a refund of fees minus £625 GBP |
| J2 Applications: Applicant will receive a refund of £250 for each J2 application |
| Please note: The US Government or Embassy will not provide a refund to any participant for either the SEVIS fee or the MRV fee. |

*If, as part of your application process, revised documents have been issued FOR THE SAME US HOST COMPANY for any reason (at a cost of £92.50 per re-issue), these fees will be deducted from the total amount refunded. *If revised documents have been issued FOR A NEW HOST COMPANY for any reason (at a cost of £200 per change), these fees will be deducted from the total amount refunded. |
| If you cancel once your visa has been approved by the US Embassy there will be no refund of any fees paid |

HOST COMPANY SITE VISITS: Where a Host Company Site Visit has taken place and the application is refused, there will be an additional non-refundable charge equivalent to $250 US Dollars. If cancellation occurs for any reason AFTER the issuance of the SEVIS ID and DS-2019 Certificate, this $250 US dollars will be added to the standard cancellation charge |
