The Programme Fees depend on the amount of time you plan on being at your US Host Company

J1 Intern Programme

Full time students and those starting their programme in the USA within 12 months of graduating

J1 Trainee Programme

For those with a degree plus 12 months full time work experience - or in the absence of a degree or equivalent qualification, 5 years full time work experience in their chosen field.

*J1 Trainee programs in hospitality and agriculture are limited to a maximum 12 month duration by the US Government

Additional Costs to Consider

SEVIS FEE ($220): When your application is ready to be approved, you will be contacted by Pan Atlantic. At this time, as part of the process of booking your visa interview at your local embassy, you will need to pay your SEVIS fee.
*SEVIS fees are not required by J2 applicants as their applications are linked to the J1 application
Site Visits: In some cases (as required by US Government guidelines), it may be necessary to conduct a Site Visit in order to confirm the Prospective host company in the US is able to meet the legal requirements for hosting an international intern or trainee.
If this is required, an additional £200 will be added to the programme fee (you will be notified of this in advance)
Local US Embassy Fee/ MRV Fee ($185): This is paid directly to the local embassy in order to book and attend your interview.
DS-2019 forms are issued for specific dates. Re-issuance of the DS-2019 for new dates prior to the start of the program will incur additional fees.
New dates within the same calendar year will incur a fee of £100 per change
New program dates in a different calendar year will be equal to half of the current year’s program fee. All date changes require the agreement of the participant, host company and Pan Atlantic

J2 Family Members

The cost of the documentation to allow this application is £500 GBP (for each individual application).

Insurance cover for your J2 applicants is provided through Pan Atlantic, the cost of this will be £70/ month for each applicant.

*J2 visa applicants will also need to book and attend a face to face interview at their local US Embassy - the costs for this will be the standard MRV fee ($185) payable direct to your local embassy at the time of booking the visa interview

Cancellation Policy

In the event of a cancellation after a DS-2019 has been produced but prior to issuance of the visa (including cases of visa denial):

J1 Intern: Applicant will receive a refund of fees minus £550GBP
J1 Trainee: Applicant will receive a refund of fees minus £650 GBP
J2 Applications: Applicant will receive of fees minus £250 per applicant
Pleaase note: The US Government or Embassy will not provide a refund to any participant for either the SEVIS fee or the MRV fee.
